I WANT TO BECOME A MEMBER

Q1 What are the conditions for membership?
You can sign up for membership at the studio reception every day from 7:00 – 23:00. You must be at least 15 years old to sign up for membership. A person under the age of 18 can only enter into a contract in the presence of a legal guardian. You must show proof of identity (ID card or passport) when signing the contract.

Q2 What types of membership do you offer?
The current membership offer can be found at: https://johnreed.fitness/cz/club-praha#contracts. The SILVER contract entitles you to use the JOHN REED club in which the contract was concluded. With a GOLD membership contract you get the right to train in JOHN REED clubs of the same and lower category than the Prague club. The current assignment of clubs to each category/cluster can be found here https://johnreed.fitness/cz/club-kategories. You can also train in McFIT studios in Germany, Austria, Italy and Spain, unless otherwise stated. You can also bring a friend with you to the Prague club for free for training from Friday to Sunday. One friend per day and it can be a different friend each time.

Q3 Do you have discounts for students?
Yes, we offer students a 10% discount on membership. In order to get the student rate you must be a student on the day of the contract and provide proof of this with your certificate of study.

Q4 Is there any other fee in addition to the membership fee?
Unless otherwise stated, a one-off non-refundable activation fee of CZK 500 is payable for the issue and activation of the membership card upon conclusion of the contract.

Q5 Can I try the studio for free before signing up for membership?
You can purchase a daily pass (DAY PASS). Please visit https://johnreed.fitness/cz/zkusebni-trenink for the current terms and conditions. If you sign a membership contract with us within 7 days of purchasing it, the amount will be deducted from your membership. Alternatively, you can take advantage of the free entry to the Boost Club, https://johnreed.fitness/cz/boostclub.

Q6 How can I pay for my membership?
You can pay your membership fee either monthly, by automatic transfer from your credit card or bank account, or quarterly, by card payment at the studio or by transfer from your bank account. You cannot pay with cash.

MY MEMBERSHIP

Q1 How can I terminate my contract?
The contract can only be terminated in writing by sending an email to zakaznickyservis@johnreed.cz. If you do not terminate the contract before the end of the relevant period, the contract will be extended for the duration of the first contract period, up to a maximum of twelve additional months. Proper notice of termination must be given for a contract with a first contractual period of up to three months at the latest two weeks, and for a contract with a first contractual period of more than three months at the latest four weeks before the respective end of the contract. Each client shall retain his membership card after the end of the contract.

Q2 Can I suspend my contract?
Suspension of membership is only possible for a full calendar month and must be reported in writing to zakaznickyservis@johnreed.cz no later than 7 days before the start of the suspension. During the period of suspension, the member is exempt from paying membership fees and cannot use the studio’s services. The contract is extended for the period of suspension. The maximum period of suspension is specified in the contract. A member who is more than one month in arrears with membership fees cannot be suspended.

Q3 If I refer a new member, is there any benefit to me?
If you have a minimum 12-month contract with us and you refer a new member who also has a minimum 12-month contract, you will get a free month as a reward. For two members, two free months, etc…

Q4 What should I do if I lose my membership card?
Report the loss in person at the studio or email zakaznickyservis@johnreed.cz. After reporting the loss, the functions of the membership card will be blocked to avoid the risk of misuse by a third party. You will then pay a fee of CZK 500 for a replacement membership card.

Q5 With GOLD membership in Prague, which other fitness studios can I train in?
You can train in JOHN REED clubs of the same and lower category than the Prague club. The current assignment of clubs to each category/cluster can be found here https://johnreed.fitness/cz/club-kategories. You can also train in McFIT studios in Germany, Austria, Italy and Spain, unless otherwise stated. When joining a studio abroad, you must show a valid contract or last paid invoice at the reception of the studio in question. Your membership card will not be valid there.

INFO ABOUT THE CLUB

Q1 Is it possible to buy a single entry?
You can purchase a DAY PASS. For the current terms and conditions, please visit https://johnreed.fitness/cz/zkusebni-trenink. If you sign a membership agreement with us within 7 days of purchasing it, the amount will be credited to your membership.

Q2 What are the opening hours of the club?
It is open 24 hours every day, including public holidays. Between the hours of 23:00 – 07:00, entry is only possible with a membership card.

Q3 On which days does the DJ play?
Unless otherwise stated, always on Mondays and Thursdays from 18:00 – 21:00. For a schedule of who’s playing, check out our Instagram, https://www.instagram.com/johnreedfitness_cz/.

Q4 Do you offer group lessons?
Yes, you can always find the current schedule on our Instagram, https://www.instagram.com/johnreedfitness_cz/. You do not need to register for lessons.

Q5 Do you have personal trainers?
Yes, we have qualified personal trainers. The staff at the reception can help you in recommendations, and booking in consultations with the PT’s.

Q6 Do you accept multisport card?
We do not accept multisport or other benefit cards.

Q7 Is it possible to park for free?
Unfortunately, not. Only paid areas or blue zone for Prague 1 and 2.

Q8 What should I take with me to training?
Comfortable sports clothes, clean sports shoes, a towel and a padlock for your locker. Alternatively, you can buy a padlock with a card from the machine next to the reception.
